General Terms and Conditions of the Forest Walker Wilderness School

A legally valid and binding contract is created when the registration form is sent and when we receive a registration by email or post for one of our events and our subsequent confirmation. Once we have received your registration, we will send you further information.

Tours, camps & seminars
The fee for our tours, camps and seminars is due no later than 14 days before the start of the event.
If you register at short notice within 14 days before the start, the fee is due immediately upon registration.

 

training
The first installment of the training fee is due no later than one month before the start of the training. The amount of the installment can be found in the description of the training.
If you register at short notice within 14 days before the start of the training, the first installment is due immediately.

 

Cancellation Conditions

Withdrawal from an event or training must be made in writing by email to info(at)waldlaeufer-wildnisschule.de and received by the Forest Walker Wilderness School. Fees already paid will be charged according to the cancellation conditions listed below. We will transfer any remaining amounts back as soon as you give us your bank details.

The following cancellation conditions apply to tours, camps and seminars:
If you cancel up to 14 days before the start of the event, we charge €50
  cancellation fee. After that, no more refunds will be made. However, a substitute person is welcome to take part in the course.
In case of no-show, the entire course fee is due.

The following cancellation conditions apply to the training:
If you withdraw in the period between registration and one month before the start of the training, we charge a cancellation fee of €100.
 
If you withdraw between one month and 14 days before the start of the training, we charge 25% of the total training fee as a cancellation fee.
 
After that, no more refunds will be made. However, a substitute person is welcome to take part in the training.
 
In case of non-attendance, the entire training fee is due.
The entire training fee will be charged for participation in training, even if individual dates cannot be attended. The amount for accommodation and meals is always due.

 

cancellation of events

The Forest Walker Wilderness School reserves the right to cancel events in writing if the minimum number of participants is not reached or for unforeseeable reasons (e.g. if the management is ill or if safety cannot be guaranteed due to the weather conditions). In such cases, we endeavor to inform the participants as soon as possible. The participants will then receive the paid fee back. There are no further claims by the participants.

 

Disclaimer

The participant assures that he/she is physically and mentally able to take part in the respective event. Exceptions must be communicated to the course management in advance.
The participant is aware that participation in events in nature, despite precautionary measures and risk minimization by the management, can entail dangers and assumes full responsibility for this. This also includes risks such as injuries, accidents, illness, damage and loss of property, as well as all physical and material damage caused by force majeure. The Forest Walker Wilderness School assumes no liability whatsoever for these risks or for travel to the event location. The participant is obliged to follow the instructions of the leaders.
Participation is at your own risk.

 

images and data

Pictures taken by the participant during the event may be used for advertising purposes by the Waldlaufen Wilderness School upon prior agreement. The images will not be stored or published in combination with the names of the participants.
